Summary:

The Department of Biology at Niagara University seeks part-time instructor(s) to teach BIO234L Anatomy and Physiology II Lecture sections in the Spring of 2022.

 

Essential Duties:

Use the provided course syllabus to fulfill course objectives. Maintain class records and attendance. Responsible for course instruction in the classroom. Lecture materials will be provided but may be amended, with the assistance of the lead faculty, to engage active learning. Exams and assignments will be coordinated with the other sections of the course to maintain continuity. Grade assignments and tests then return them to students in a timely fashion.

 

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Thorough knowledge of the subject matter. Ability to plan and present instructional material in a clear, logical, and concise manner. Ability to use sound professional judgment and maintain proper teacher-student relationships.

 

Qualification Standards:

A Master's degree in biology or closely related discipline. Experience teaching at the college level is preferred. Candidates should provide a curriculum vita, statement of teaching philosophy, and 2 letters of recommendation.
