Position Summary:

Manages the administrative activities of the EPS graduate degree program and certificates. Performs activities which may include: recruitment, admissions, new student orientation, academic advising, monitoring of progress towards degree, course and enrollment management, diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives, funding, course and program assessment, and academic program review.

Degree and Area of Specialization:

Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.

Minimum Years and Type of Relevant Work Experience:

More than two years of post-degree experience working in higher education, academia and/or academic research setting. Applicants must have at least one year of experience in student/employee support services in higher education or relevant training/career development setting.

Required Skills:
-Working expertise with Microsoft Office Software (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
-Demonstrated customer service, organizational, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Skills:
-Experience working with graduate students
-Experience working with international student processes
-Experience working within UW-Madison
-Experience working with resources (budget, other team members, campus resources) to coordinate events such as recruiting and orientation.
