Position Summary

The Washburn University Athletic Department is seeking a Fan Experience Associate to assist with external relations. Washburn University is a member of the NCAA Division II and MIAA conferences.

Essential Job Functions of Position

· Fan Experience coordinator for women’s soccer and baseball
· Assist with Fan Experience and promotions for football, basketball, and volleyball
· Coordinate programming – including Bods Buddies and Bods Care
· Coordinate Fan Experience Staffing and Washburn Internship Program
· Assist with video and creative initiatives for the department
· Assist Assistant Athletic Director for External Relations with Partnership Program – including renewals and fulfillment
· Assist with hospitality and ticketing as needed
· Day to day operations of the External Relations department as needed
Perform additional job-related duties as assigned or as appropriate

Non-Essential Job Functions of Position

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Effective communication skills.
Experience in Adobe Suite preferred.
