The Department of Economics, Finance, and
Healthcare Administration in
the Langdale College of Business
Administration invites applications for a non-tenure
track faculty position beginning August 1, 2022. The selected
candidate will be responsible for teaching courses in the
candidate’s area of expertise.
The Langdale College of Business Administration programs are
accredited by the AACSB placing the Langdale College among the top
5% of business colleges worldwide. We offer a challenging
curriculum and essential real-life learning experiences that
prepare our students for a dynamic business Environment.
The department relies on high-impact educational practices
combined with leading business software to create stackable
credentials in both undergraduate and graduate programs. The
department also now leads the VSU FinTech program as part of the
USG multi-institution consortium and offers an ‘Applied Economics’
major based on current trends in economic development and business

Teaching at the undergraduate level and providing service to the
College, University, profession, and regional business community.
Primary teaching areas are data analytics, macroeconomics,
microeconomics, and international economics.
- Master’s degree at the time of appointment in economics,
finance, or data analytics from an AACSB-accredited institution of
higher education or member institution or other internationally
accredited institution; a terminal degree is not required but will
be accepted in lieu of a master’s degree;
