DePauw University - Assistant Professor of Economics and Management (Tenure-track) Macroeconomics and Monetary Economics

The Department of Economics and Management at DePauw University invites applications for a tenure-track position in economics at the rank of Assistant Professor to begin in August 2022. Ph.D. is preferred, although ABD will be considered. Salary and benefits are competitive and commensurate with qualifications. The department seeks candidates whose primary fields are macroeconomics and monetary economics. A strong commitment to teaching undergraduates in a liberal-arts setting for a diverse body of students and evidence of effective and inclusive teaching are essential. Candidates must be able to contribute to teaching all economics core courses, including introductory economics, intermediate theory (especially intermediate macroeconomics), quantitative analysis, and senior seminar, and courses in specialty. Teaching assignment is six courses per year, in addition to a half-credit course taught every third year during January or May term. Funding is available for professional development and research with undergraduate students.
