Job Description:

The School of Business anticipates an opening for a faculty position in the Department of Management at the level of Assistant/Associate Professor of Management of Information Systems for a non-tenure track two-year fixed term appointment, beginning in Fall 2022. Responsibilities include undergraduate and graduate teaching in the Bachelor of Arts in BA, in MICT, and in MBA Programs. The applicant should be actively engaged in research to maintain AACSB accreditation and has a solid understanding of the developments and emerging trends in information and communication technology as well as management information systems.

Applicants will also be expected to engage in ongoing activities in the department as well as undertaking development activities consistent with teaching and research. The successful applicant will have expertise in one or more of several possible subfields, including management, support systems, IT project management, database management, networking, electronic business, big data and artificial intelligence.

Requirements:

While PhD holders from accredited universities are preferred, the primary criteria for appointment are a demonstrated record of professional impact in the field with a substantive experience in the area of management. We seek candidates who are expected to be acknowledged as leaders in the discipline with strong teaching skills and the ability to make contributions to the profession. Applicants should demonstrate high potential for a strong record in research and excellent student evaluation in teaching.
