Position Description The University of Findlay invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position to teach primarily in the intervention specialist licensure program in the College of Education (COE).  The COE is seeking a candidate with experience working as an Intervention Specialist in K-12 schools. The COE prepares caring, competent, reflective, and highly qualified professionals.  The college offers undergraduate and post-baccalaureate licensure in Early Childhood, Middle Childhood, Intervention Specialist, AYA and Multi-Age areas as well as several endorsements.  The licensure programs have a strong field experience component and the college is accredited through CAEP.  The College has a Master of Arts in Education, principal and superintendent licensure, EdD program, and EdD in School Psychology. 

Successful candidates will have a terminal degree, previous intervention specialist and/or administrative experience; previous university teaching, including online teaching experience; with a preference toward candidates with CAEP experience. The applicant should be willing to be a Team Leader for Intervention Specialist as well as chair and serve on doctoral committees. This position will be at the rank of Assistant Professor. Candidates must be committed to student-centered education as well as professional development and academic scholarship.
