Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:
The Department of Supply Chain Management in the Ivy College of Business at Iowa State University welcomes applications for a tenure-track Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor in Supply Chain Management (SCM). Primary responsibilities include both research and teaching in SCM at the undergraduate, Masters, and Ph.D. levels.
Successful applicants will be expected to develop and maintain an outstanding research program targeting leading journals in supply chain management. The applicant is also expected to demonstrate strong teaching abilities. The ability to communicate effectively with prospective and current students, industry personnel, and the wider community is essential to this position. The expected start date for this position is August 16, 2022.

Required Minimum Qualifications:
-Applicants must have an earned doctorate in business administration, with a concentration in supply chain management, logistics, operations, or a related field.
-Applicants must demonstrate the potential for an outstanding research record.
-Candidates must meet the college’s standards to be Scholarly Academic qualification under AACSB standards.
Preferred Qualifications:
-Very strong research record in SCM evidenced by publications in leading academic journals.
-Interest in developing and delivering healthcare supply
chain
-Work experience with responsibilities related to supply chain
management.
-Sustained record of excellence in teaching and the ability to
teach a variety of SCM courses at undergraduate, Masters, and Ph.D.
levels.
-Demonstrated skill in developing and expanding relationships with
companies and professional organizations.
