Choral Activities Director (part-time)

Job Description:

Immediate opening for a part time conductor of the Citadel Cadet Chorale to prepare for, rehearse for and conduct the chorale in events on behalf of The Citadel for the remainder of the current academic year. Will work closely with the Director of Music and The Chaplain’s office in preparing for and executing the Citadel Christmas Candlelight presentation, and other projects in the spring. Must be able to audition cadets for participation in the chorale, recruit cadet singers and be comfortable working under a planned deadline.

Minimum Qualifications:

Suitable candidates should have extensive choral and vocal experience, and grasp of the pedagogy necessary to instruct non-music majors in creating a polished presentation.
