The School of Accountancy in the College of Business at the Auburn University at Montgomery ( AUM ) is accepting applications for a 9 month tenure-track Assistant/Associate Professor position in Accounting. The candidate selected for this position will start in August 2022. Applicants will be expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Accounting, participate in research and scholarly activities consistent with AACSB expectations, and engage in service activities within the school, college, university, profession and community. This position requires a Doctorate in Accounting or a related field from an AACSB accredited institution ( ABD will be considered). Applicants should demonstrate capacity for high quality teaching (as evidenced by teaching evaluations if available). Evidence of scholarly productivity is essential, in addition to strong communication and interpersonal skills. A teaching interest in financial accounting is preferred.
