Nursing: Clinical Placement Coordinator to build relationships with existing and new clinical agencies.

The Clinical Placement Coordinator will communicate the department’s anticipated needs with clinical partners in order to secure clinical placements and preceptorships for students; serve as the department’s point-of-contact for clinical agencies and part-time clinical faculty; coordinate clinical agency orientation activities for students and faculty; build a part-time clinical faculty pool; secure part-time faculty for clinical courses each semester; assist in orientation of new and part-time clinical faculty; contribute to scheduling decisions; and communicate systematically with department personnel regarding clinical agency requirements, schedules, and student issues.

Required: Master’s degree in nursing; current unencumbered licensure as registered nurse in State of Ohio; minimum two years’ active practice in nursing; must demonstrate competence in nursing practice and uphold standards of the profession when working with partnering agencies, faculty, staff, and students.  This position is available to persons who are currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time and indefinite basis. (Persons authorized to work on such a basis include US citizens, lawful permanent residents (“green card” holders), asylees, refugees, and temporary residents under IRCA).
