Job Summary

The Department of Business and Economics at Elmhurst University, in the western suburbs of Chicago, invites qualified supply chain professionals, with MBA or (previous undergraduate teaching experience) a plus) with experience in anyone of the following areas: fundamentals of supply chain management, supply chain analysis, principles and practices of negotiations, technology in the Supply Chain; global sourcing, inventory practices and logistics operations methods and systems.

Essential Functions
  • Currently industry experience.
  • Flexibility relative to teaching schedule.
  • Be available for meetings with logistics and supply chain professors a few times during the semester.
  • Grade, manage and set up assignments using the Blackboard learning management system.


Other Duties and Responsibilities
  • As assigned.
Minimum Qualifications

  1. MBA or MPA or related Master’s degree or higher.
  2. Some college teaching experience.



Preferred Qualifications

  1. Current industry experience.



Working Conditions/Physical Requirements

Employee is subject to indoor work, protected from weather conditions. Work is sedentary in nature and involves exerting up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently/constantly in order to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move object.
