About the Opportunity:
Reporting to the Director of Academic Integration and Planning, the Academic Coordinator is a key member of GEO's Academic Integration & Planning Team. The Coordinator manages the entire process of course mapping and registration for all global experience programs.

Responsibilities:
The position facilitates ascertaining Northeastern course equivalencies, credit values and grading scales for coursework at partner institutions abroad; codes GEO programs and enrolls program participants into appropriate courses in the University system of student records; plans and implements surveys and assessments, analyzes data, and contributes to the enhancement of GEO's learning outcomes. The Coordinator works closely with GEO's core divisions, the Registrar's Office, the Office of Student Financial Services, the Center for Advancing Teaching and Learning Through Research, as well as with college-based course evaluators, departments, and student advising offices.

Qualifications:
  • Proven attention to detail

  • One to three years of applicable work experience

  • Bachelor's degree required

  • Demonstrated ability to multitask in a fast-paced work environment

  • Strong attention to detail, with strong organization, prioritization, time management, and follow-through skills.

  • Demonstrated capacity to work effectively on teams and collaborative problem solver

  • Excellent writing skills with effective use of electronic communications

  • Strong computer skills, proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office software, experience working with data and databases, generating and reconciling reports.
