Lindenwood University seeks highly motivated, collaborative, visionary candidates for the position of Senior Vice President, Lindenwood Global.

Lindenwood University, founded in 1827, is the second oldest university west of the Mississippi River. Lindenwood’s historic 200+ acre campus is situated in the heart of St. Charles, MO, a growing community of 67,000. While located in the city of St. Charles, Lindenwood is part of a broader community in St. Charles County, which has a growing population approaching 400,000 residents. St. Louis, just a few minutes east, features amenities such as Forest Park, several music venues, the Gateway Arch, professional sports, and much more.

This is a unique and rare opportunity to create and build a Global Division from the ground up.  Reporting to the President, the Senior Vice President of Lindenwood Global is the enterprise leader for the University’s burgeoning online and continuing education programming. This inaugural position has full authority and responsibility for envisioning and building the online business vertical.  The selected candidate will be given wide latitude to build a transformative online and Global learning experience; he or she must explore the art of the possible and operationalize it to create the e-learning reality of the future.  The Senior Vice President establishes all strategies, goals and direction for the department, provides leadership for all departmental colleagues, and builds and trains a best-in-class team.

Lindenwood’s vision for transformation is to create a nationally recognized online division that provides an intuitive, well-branded, online educational experience that adapts to student’s individual learning styles to maximize their personal, academic, and professional outcomes.  Strategically, the SVP will create an online infrastructure to revolutionize how Lindenwood serves students, scales operations, expands academic reach, and drives toward the future.

This initiative has the support of all elements of the university and will be robustly designed, built and resourced.
