Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a nine-month, tenure track Assistant Professor or Associate Professor of Exercise Science faculty position in the Department of Exercise Science and Sport Management, beginning August 1, 2022. Rank is determined at the time of hiring and will be commensurate with experience.


The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the Department’s teaching efforts at the undergraduate and graduate levels in the area of exercise physiology and maintain a record of scholarly publications in peer-reviewed scientific journals within this nine-month, tenure-track position. In addition, candidates are expected to contribute to departmental, college, university, and professional service.

An earned doctorate in exercise physiology, a related field, or the foreign equivalent is required. Preferred Qualifications Include:

  • Prior teaching experience including familiarity with exercise physiology laboratories
  • American College of Sports Medicine Certified Exercise Physiologist
  • National Strength and Conditioning Association Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist
