Anthropology: Postdoctoral
Fellow: The Department of Anthropology invites applications
for a Postdoctoral Fellow in Medical Anthropology and Global Health
beginning January 2018. One year position with a possible
six-month extension, depending on performance and funding.
Expertise in all areas of medical
anthropology and global health are welcome. The Postdoctoral
Fellow will work closely with Professor Hay-Rollins to strengthen
the research initiatives within
the transdisciplinary Global Health Research Innovation
Center (http://miamioh.edu/cas/academics/centers/ghric/index.html);
teach two courses per semester.
Require: Ph.D. in anthropology by
date of appointment; regional expertise open. This position
is not eligible for H-1B sponsorship.
Desire: record of funded research,
teaching experience, and research interests synergistic with
ongoing research projects in global health and/or medical
anthropology at Miami University; an MPH.
