Position Title Administrative Coordinator for Faculty Affairs Overview
Coordinate faculty resources and support on behalf of the Office of Academic Affairs. Manage processes, procedures, and communications related to faculty development and support. Oversee the adoption, development, and implementation of relevant software. Essential Duties:
1. Coordinate and manage all resources and support for faculty. Coordinate all aspects of faculty development programming, including New Faculty Orientation, which includes several sessions in August and corresponding programming throughout the academic year; coordinate resources for all faculty, including office assignments, furniture orders, computer hardware requests, and technology needs; and coordinate and process faculty related purchasing and reimbursements (e.g., faculty research, travel, discretionary funds). Communicate with faculty and respond to inquiries regarding resources and support, maintain accurate records, files, and spreadsheets for accounts, maintain a database and inventory of faculty resources, supports, initiatives, and develop corresponding assessments and reports. Coordinate faculty development committees (e.g., Committee to Aid Faculty Research, Faculty Development Council). Provide assistance with greeting visitors, answering phones, etc. Act as a resource to others in the office.

2. Develop and manage web-based and print information related to faculty development; collaborate with the Academic Affairs Sr. Director of Communications to ensure that information regarding faculty development is communicated effectively through a range of media; support the Office of Academic Affairs in the collection and distribution of faculty development information in all areas of the College; and, in collaboration with the Sr. Executive Assistant, develop and maintain a faculty database to be used for communication and faculty development tracking.

3. Serve as the primary contact and campus administrator for software purchased, utilized, and supported by the Office of Academic Affairs. Coordinate and manage current programs and software (e.g. Digital Measures [Activity Insight and Workflow], Acalog, Fluid Review). Coordinate and manage all aspects of adopting and maintaining new programs and software, develop training modules and tutorials for programs and software, and communicate and coordinate with other offices to support and promote the use of programs and software.

4. Manage special projects and serve as liaison to offices and individuals on behalf of the Office of Academic Affairs. Collaborate with College Events to develop programming for the Common Reading Program. Marginal Duties:
Perform all other duties as may be required. Education and Experience Required
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution required.
• Three to five years’ previous administrative experience, preferably in higher education or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work under deadline pressure and prioritize assignments while managing multiple tasks. Strong office coordination and technology skills, including web editing.
• Service excellence approach is necessary.
• Responsible, deadline-driven, personal, and tactful, with initiative and use of independent judgment.
• Ability to work with others on a variety of projects and programs.
• Occasional evening or weekend work may be required. Physical Demands

• Finger dexterity required to manipulate objects with fingers rather than with whole hand(s) or arm(s), for example, using a keyboard
