Assistant Professor of Industrial Technology Management

The Department of Industrial Studies is looking for a dynamic full-time, tenure track faculty in Industrial Technology Management with emphasis in Manufacturing Technology Management. Responsibilities for this position include teaching courses in, or related to, basic electricity, automation, robotics, controls, and fluid power.  This is a unique opportunity in that this position will also oversee two brand new automation laboratories: Electronics and Industrial Control Systems Lab, and Robotics Lab.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

Master of Science in one of the following: Industrial Technology Management, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Technology Education, Education with CTE experience, or closely related field with specialization in industrial controls, computer integrated manufacturing and/or robotics.

Industrial experience in a closely related field and/or teaching experience in manufacturing and materials processes.

Must also have demonstrable skills in oral and written communication, an observable dedication to undergraduate education, an enthusiasm for professional engagement with students in and out of the classroom, the ability to work with colleagues in a collegial environment, and a demonstrated ability to interact with industry.
