Marketing and Communication Coordinator
The Spadoni College of Education and Social Sciences at Coastal
Carolina University, located in Conway, South Carolina, seeks a
dynamic, team-oriented professional to serve as
beginning November 1, 2021.
Reporting to the Dean, the Marketing and Communication
Coordinator works with College faculty, staff, and
administrators to develop, implement, and manage effective,
audience-focused communication and marketing plans supporting the
goals and mission of the Spadoni College of Education and Social
Sciences at Coastal Carolina University.
The Marketing and Communication Coordinator
coordinates informational and public relations activities
supporting academic programs, departments, and the Spadoni College.
The Coordinator collaborates closely with department chairs,
administrators, program directors, and staff to generate engaging
content and disseminating information about the College’s programs,
operations, and achievements. The Coordinator creates, develops,
executes and evaluates thoughtful content across multiple digital
and print platforms.
Duties include, developing and implementing marketing,
advertising, and communication plans and campaigns; designing print
and digital communications; managing and growing social media and
web presence as part of the College’s integrated content marketing
and public relations strategy; and assessing the impact of
marketing and communications strategies. The Marketing and
Communications Coordinator should have a working knowledge of
social media analytics and search engine optimization to evaluate
the effectiveness of campaigns they develop and execute. In
addition to working with College constituents, the Coordinator
collaborates closely with University Marketing and Communication to
amplify College messaging. Evening and weekend work may be

Qualifications: A bachelor’s degree and experience related
to the development and dissemination of informational material are
required. Experience developing, implementing and evaluating
a communication/marketing/branding strategy and managing social
media channels are preferred.
