The University of North Florida seeks to attract an active,
culturally and academically diverse faculty of the highest caliber,
skilled in the scholarship of teaching, discovery, application and
integration of knowledge in the area of Analytical Chemistry
(Position 336470). A Ph.D. in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or closely
related field is required. Postdoctoral experience is
preferred.
UNF faculty are expected to maintain the highest standards of
academic excellence in all phases of instruction,
research/scholarship/creative activity, and service. Candidates
should demonstrate a strong commitment to undergraduate teaching
and research.
Responsibilities for the tenure-track Assistant Professor include:
teaching lower- and upper-level courses in the discipline,
undertaking productive original research, including research and
publishing with undergraduate students, submitting grant proposals
for extramural funding, and service contributions to the
department, university, and broader scientific community.
Competitive startup funds are available. Review of applications
