About the Opportunity:
The Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders is seeking a Program Manager!

Bouve College of Health Sciences is comprised of four preeminent schools of study encompassing approximately 1,000 faculty and staff, 5,000 students, and 40,000 alumni.

Responsibilities:
The Program Manager for the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSD) performs diversified administrative, student services, reporting, support, and accreditation-related duties to assure the smooth and efficient operation of activities in the department, particularly as they relate to the Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology program and the Bachelor of Science in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology program, including their students and faculty. These activities may extend into the Interdisciplinary Early Intervention Certificate Program. This position reports to the Chair of the CSD department, however, works very closely to support the academically related work of the Directors of Graduate and Undergraduate Programs and Director of Clinical Education. The position also supports the work of the department's Admissions Committee, the Academic Standing Committee, and assists, when needed, the work of the Curriculum Committee. The Program Manager for the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders establishes and maintains administrative systems in support of the strategic goals and accreditation requirements of the program, including student-focused initiatives. The position facilitates a wide variety of coordination, management, data analysis, operational and support tasks related to the above activities.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree required. Master's Degree strongly preferred. Minimum 2-5 years of experience in a professional academic, business, or health care setting required with strong problem solving, analytical and critical thinking skills. Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Excel and/or databases required, and an ability to quickly adapt to new technologies. Individual should possess excellent communication and writing skills, with the ability to independently communicate professionally at all levels of the organization as well as externally. Very strong interpersonal skills along with a proven ability to work effectively with culturally diverse stakeholders. Must have excellent planning, organizational, time management and judgment skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks assigned from a variety of sources. Must be resourceful and able to work independently on a project. Must be flexible and have evidence of working in a team environment. Proven ability to manage confidential information and keep it secure is required.
