Job Summary
This position will coordinate the ongoing development and maintenance of all Degree Audit and Degree Planner systems. The incumbent will act as lead for implementation of curriculum and policy changes as it relates to Advising Systems. Contact for advisor, faculty, and staff inquiries regarding these tools and related university curriculum and policies. Contribute to ongoing student success efforts, collaborating with Enrollment Services Student Records leadership and Academic Advising Systems Analysts in support of a cohesive unit.

Key Responsibilities
Responsible for the implementation and maintenance of Degree Audits and Degree Planners for all undergraduate and post-baccalaureate programs, including premajors, majors, minors, certificates, credentials, and special programs.
Analyze curriculum and policy. Work with supervisor and Curriculum Office to ensure curriculum and associated Degree Audit, Degree Planner, and Academic Structure coding aligns with campus and system-wide policies and regulations, including but not limited to General Education, Major-Specific Declaration Criteria, and new degree programs.
Day-to-day lead for the Academic Advising Systems Analysts.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities
Maintains a safe work environment. Communicates with the University community in a civil manner. Thorough knowledge of academic policies/procedures relating to curriculum, transfer credit rules and degree audit building. Thorough knowledge of on-line student information system, imaging systems, articulation systems, and degree audit systems. Proven ability to analyze user needs and translate into detailed specifications. Proven ability to design, develop, implement and maintain complex technical rules in support of business processes. Demonstrated ability to analyze data requirements and research data availability and access methods. Subject matter expertise in transfer credit articulation, transfer admission, and graduation and the tools to automate these regulations and processes. Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply academic and administrative policies and procedures to the degree audit system. Demonstrated ability to carry out assignments without detailed instructions. Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain good working relationships. Demonstrated ability to exercise good judgment in the execution of business processes and staff management.

Ability to communicate with an ethnically and culturally diverse campus community. Ability to follow all university policies, procedures, and guidelines including but not limited to safety, civility, information security, and non-discrimination policies and procedures. Ability to contribute to a positive university experience for each and every student, and assist in achieving the university's commitment to a "vision of excellence."

Education and Experience
Equivalent to a bachelor's degree in applicable field and three years of related work experience required.

Compensation
The salary for this position can be set as high as $65,000 annually depending on knowledge, experience and qualifications' per month based on experience. The salary range for this classification is $3,897to $7,051per month.

Time Base
Full-time temporary position for one year with no permanent status granted. Temporary assignments may expire prior to the ending date.
