Mental Health Program Coordinator

Location: Moscow

Pay Range: $22.43 per hour or higher depending on education and experience

Full/Part Time: Part Time

Position Summary:
Provide leadership in developing, planning, conducting, and evaluating a UI Extension Mental Health Program. Coordinate relevant and current information from a variety of sources to facilitate and deliver effective non-biased, researched-based mental health promotion, and programming related to agriculture and youth stress and depression, suicide prevention and awareness.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in education, psychology, social work, human development or family studies or closely related field
  • One year of experience planning, organizing, implementing and evaluating educational programs.
  • Experience with issues faced by those in agriculture and youth.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge and skills in working with diverse audiences.
  • Extension, outreach or teaching experience
  • Experience working with the media
  • Direct service related to mental health
  • Grant management experience
