New tenure track faculty members ordinarily have a three-course teaching load and summer support.

Applicants for this position must have completed all requirements for the Ph.D. (or other terminal) degree in management or a closely related field by the date of appointment. Applicants must have a research record that demonstrates the potential for top quality scholarly research and teaching excellence in entrepreneurship.

The GWSB Department of Management is committed to rigorous and high-impact scholarly work from a variety of methodological and theoretical perspectives. We have 16 full-time faculty who teach and do research in the areas of organizational behavior, human resources, entrepreneurship, and tourism/hospitality/sport management. The department provides a highly collegial environment with strong research support, including the opportunity to work with both management and strategy doctoral students as part of the joint management-strategy doctoral program. Management faculty research has appeared in such outlets as of Journal of Business Venturing, Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice, Journal of Small Business Management, International Journal of Entrepreneurship Education, Journal of Small Business and Enterprise development.
