Job Summary: The Rochester Educational Opportunity Center (REOC), part of SUNY Brockport, State University of New York is accepting applications for a Manager of REOC Admissions. This position oversees the Admissions Office and coordinates the recruitment, assessment and admission process. This position supervises five subordinate positions and provides professional training and support for the Admissions Advisors and support staff. The person in this role is responsible for enrollment of students and works with the Director of Academic Affairs and the Coordinator of Community Relations to develop a plan and strategies to expand recruitment and outreach. Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree by time of appointment from a college or university accredited by the U.S. Department of Education or an internationally recognized college or university.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience working in admissions or a related field.
  • Experience working with adult students.
  • Experience supervising professional staff.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion.
    Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree in counseling, Education, Human Services, Psychology, Sociology.
  • A proven track record meeting admissions goals.
  • Experience in prospect research and management.
  • Experience developing strategies to expand recruitment and outreach.
    Work Schedule: Monday - Friday Salary and Benefits: $57,846 May be benefits eligible; more information at Careers@Brockport. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
