Job Description

UMKC's School of Nursing and Health Sciences is hiring a full-time, benefit-eligible, 9-month, non-tenure track Assistant Teaching Professor of Health Science to begin on January 2, 2022. The applicant selected for this position will be expected to: teach 12 credit hours of undergraduate classes in both Fall and Spring semesters for the undergraduate Bachelor of Health Sciences program, support our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, via mentorship and teaching, and engage in service responsibilities, such as participating on committees at the School and University levels.

Minimum Qualifications

The successful applicant will have:

  1. Master's degree in science, Public Health, Health Educations, Behavioral Health, or related field.
  2. Undergraduate teaching experience.
  3. Demonstrated knowledge of and interest in diverse cultures and populations and support of initiatives committed to equity and inclusion.

Full Time/Part Time

Full-time, benefit-eligible, 9-month, and non-tenure track.

Salary

$55,000 - $65,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
