Job Description:

The Department of Management, Marketing, and Entrepreneurship at York College of Pennsylvania is pleased to invite applications for an adjunct position to teach Crisis Communications Management in the spring 2022 semester. Qualified candidates will possess relevant professional experience in crisis and issues management and demonstrated expertise in crisis communication. The ability to teach other specialized undergraduate and graduate courses in the Public Relations and Integrated Marketing Communication programs is also desirable.

York College is a teaching-focused institution. Adjunct faculty are required to hold regular office hours and to attend all meetings relevant to the position.


Requirements:

A successful candidate will have a minimum of a master's degree in a related field (Public Relations, Strategic Communication, Integrated Marketing Communication) from an accredited institution. Preference will be given to candidates with a Ph.D. or D.B.A. (or ABD).

Preference will also be given to candidates with five years of relevant industry experience and at least two years of teaching experience in a higher educational setting. Candidates must be willing and able to teach classes on campus, though experience with online or hybrid teaching is desirable.
