Position Summary:

Prepares and advises on general financial transactions and reconciles transactions. Creates general reporting on transactions. Maintains financial records, provides administrative processing support, and provides customer service for staff and customers in an assigned program area to support program financial management.

Degree and Area of Specialization:

H.S Diploma preferred

Minimum Years and Type of Relevant Work Experience:

Required:
- 1 year experience providing financial administrative support services.

Preferred:
- Experience working in higher education
- Experience completing domestic and foreign instructional or consultant payments
- Experience reconciling purchases against general ledger using Excel, web-based data mart/warehouse financial reporting tools, and cloud-based content sharing platforms
- Experience purchasing and approving supplies, and domestic and international travel (e.g. managing a purchasing/company card, employee reimbursement, using procurement and payment systems)
- Experience ensuring purchases/expenditures are allowable, allocable and reasonable to charge in accordance with federal, state, and institutional policies
- Experience transferring revenue and expenditures using institutional forms and processes
- Experience creating/formatting/combining documents using Excel, Word and Adobe Acrobat
