Job Summary

Position is located in Montgomery, AL.Provides professional nursing support and direct patient care following established standards and practices.

Essential Functions

-Prepares patients for examinations and treatments and collects objective and subjective assessment data in preparation for the patients exam.
-Serves as a productive member of the interdisciplinary care team providing input into care decisions.
-Provides direct patient care such as administration of medications and immunizations, venipuncture, health screenings, vital signs, conducting tests and other patient care activities.
-Documents patient care provided and follows all regulatory guidelines.
-Communicates test results to patients under the direction of the primary care practitioner.
-Coordinates medical care with other providers when patients are referred to other providers.
-Prepares and maintains clinical supplies and equipment.
-Resolves routine questions and problems, referring only complex issues to higher level.

Education Level

Associate's degree or equivalent from an accredited institution in Nursing or a technical or scientific field.

Field of Study

Coursework in Nursing ( LPN or RN)

No experience required for level I

Area of Experience

-Experience in nursing practices
-Experience in providing high quality patient care in a fast-paced medical environment

Requirements for Additional Job Levels

Level II: Must have 2 years’ experience in nursing practices
Level III : Must be a Registered Nurse (RN)
