About the Position:
The Office of Academic Programs has responsibility for the planning, direction, and coordination of academic curriculum, programs, and policies for undergraduate and graduate education, general education, university advisement, assessment of learning outcomes, institutional and program accreditation, program performance reviews, and various other university and system-wide programmatic initiatives. We are seeking exceptional individual to join our Undergraduate Studies and General Education team as the Curriculum Resource Specialist (Administrative Analyst/Specialist-Non-Exempt). The ideal candidate in this role should have a positive attitude and an active, energetic mind that is characterized by highly ethical practices and a commitment to diversity, openness, flexibility, integrity, and kindness.

Reporting to the Assistant Vice President of Undergraduate Studies and General Education, the Curriculum Resource Specialist serves as technical administrative support for the Office of Academic Programs. Supports the Assistant Vice Presidents (Undergraduate Studies, and Graduate Studies), and is a resource for campus curricular process questions and is an expert in the online curriculum system (Curriculog). Duties include, but are not limited to, maintaining the online curriculum system, updating the degrees database, supporting the course retirement process and serving as a resource person to faculty and staff on campus procedures related to curriculum and affiliated activities. Provides direct technical support for the electronic workflow of course and program proposal processes. Retrieves and analyzes course data information, and related queries using Peoplesoft/CMS/Curriculog/Acalog. In consultation with the Assistant Vice Presidents (UGS and Grad Studies) and IT, maps data between systems to ensure seamless transition and export/import. Arranges and provides training support for one-on-one trainings or workshops and maintains training website and user guides. Reviews and updates user roles in the Curriculog system as directed. In consultation with the Assistant Vice Presidents, creates and oversees forms to comply with University Policy using Curriculog. Updates and maintains the curriculum archives and databases. Assists with coordinating or supporting various department reports, inquiries and other projects as directed. This position may train and guide student employees. Other duties as assigned.


Essential Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university and/or the equivalent training and administrative work experience involving the study, analysis, evaluation, development or improvement of administrative policies, procedures, practices or programs. Working knowledge of the general practices, program or administrative specialty. Basic knowledge of and the ability to apply fundamental concepts. Working knowledge of budget policies and procedures. Ability to learn, interpret, and apply a wide variety of policies and procedures relating to and impacting the applicable program, organizational unit or administrative specialty. Knowledge of and the ability to apply basic methods and procedures used for research and statistical analysis. Ability to analyze data and make accurate projections using business mathematics and basic statistical techniques. Ability to make independent decisions, exercise sound judgment, handle multiple priorities, and organize and plan work assignments. Ability to compile, write, and present reports related to program or administrative specialty. Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships.

Preferred Qualifications:
Two years of progressively responsible experience in a related administrative and technical environment. Experience with curriculum process in a higher education environment; experience with Curriculog/Acalog
