Academic Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist

The Division of Pediatric Psychiatry and Behavioral Health at the University of Utah, Department of Pediatrics and Primary Children’s Hospital (PCH), is looking for an outstanding Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our growing faculty and provide psychiatric care at our new Crisis Adolescent Partial Hospitalization Program.  We are looking for a physician passionate about pediatric mental health care to help lead this program supporting youth in crisis. Clinical duties will also include on-call psychiatric coverage at Primary Children’s Hospital (PCH) by phone during off hours and weekends, along with weekend coverage on the inpatient unit at Primary Children’s Wasatch Canyons.  The physician will work with other mental health specialists to provide clinical care, educate future health care providers, conduct research, and engage in advocacy in settings where children receive high value comprehensive care that is flexible and responsive to new health care delivery models. 

Qualified candidates must be Board Eligible/Board Certified in both General Psychiatry, and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.  The selected candidate will receive a faculty appointment in the Department of Pediatrics on the Clinical or Tenure track at the academic level commensurate with experience and qualifications.
