Job Summary

This position will support the Department of Fine Art, Photo & Film by multi-tasking many responsibilities in the Photography and Filmmaking studios, including but not limited to, taking a significant role in the smooth operation of the facilities in the Photography and Film Making Studios at JCCC. Duties include supervising open lab hours, managing inventory, equipment maintenance, maintaining labs and studios, assisting students, staff & faculty, and assisting with installing and deinstalling exhibitions. Required Qualifications

Associate's Degree of Fine Arts, Photography, Film Making or other relevant area of study
Five years of relevant photography or film making experience
Familiarity with both digital and analog photographic processes and equipment
Familiarity with digital filmmaking processes, cameras and equipment
Familiarity with Adobe Suite CC software
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to effectively work with a diverse population
Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office 365
Highly competent level of expertise in applications relating to area of expertise
Ability to lift 50 lbs

Preferred Qualifications

Expert level skills in Adobe CC
Expert level of digital and analog photographic processes and equipment
Expert level of filmmaking processes, cameras, and equipment
BFA or MFA in related field
