The Division of Cardiology of the Department of Medicine at the
University of Florida College of Medicine Jacksonville
(Cardiovascular Center) seeks a full-time Electrophysiology at the
non-tenure accruing level of Assistant/Associate Professor. Major
responsibilities include providing and maintaining a high level of
quality In-patient and Out-patient electrophysiology care. Assist
in ensuring that the required guidelines are met for the
accreditations for the EP Labs. Also, assist in the educational
structuring of the EP fellowship program.
Our internationally recognized faculty are leaders in cardiac care,
research and education. The division provides services across
Northeast Florida, including at the UF Health Cardiovascular
Center, which has the region's only fully integrated, comprehensive
heart programs and the resources of an academic medical center. The
center's programs include the Coronary Interventional Program,
Nuclear Program, Electrophysiology Program, Non-Invasive Program,
and Peripheral Interventional Program.
The University of Florida College of Medicine-Jacksonville is the
largest of the three UF colleges - medicine, nursing and pharmacy -
located on the approximately 110-acre UF Health Jacksonville
campus. The college's 16 clinical science departments house more
than 400 faculty members and 300 residents and fellows. The college
offers 32 accredited graduate medical education programs. In
addition to graduate medical education, clinical rotations in all
the major disciplines are provided for students from the UF College
of Medicine in Gainesville.
For practicing physicians, the college offers a continuing medical
education program that recruits national and international speakers
