Duties & Responsibilities
The successful candidate will serve as
an Assistant Professor of Math Education, tenure track, with
primary responsibilities in teaching, research, advising, and
service. The successful candidate will participate in research and
grant activities, teach two courses per semester, and participate
in service. Employment opportunities are available in summer.
Salary is dependent on qualifications and may be increased through
grant-procuring activities.
This position aims to recruit a
teacher educator with research expertise in Math education and
experience teaching diverse P-12 students. The ideal candidate will
be able to teach general teacher education courses as well as
specialized courses in math education
Minimum Requirements
PhD in Curriculum Instruction, Math Education or related
field
Record of scholarly research publications in peer-reviewed
journals
Successful completion of criminal history records check
In compliance with federal law, all
persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility
to work in the US and to complete the required employment
eligibility verification form upon hire.
Minimum Hiring Salary
$65,000.00
Work Schedule/Start Date
40 hours per week/January 1, 2022
