Scholarship Coordinator
(Administrative Analyst/Specialist-Non-Exempt)

Compensation and Benefits

Anticipated Hiring Salary: $3,288 per month

Full classification Salary Range: $3,288 - $6,347 per month

  • This is a full-time (equivalent to 40 hours per week), probationary, non-exempt position.


The CSU system provides a comprehensive benefit package that includes medical, dental and vision plans, membership in the California Public Employees Retirement System (CalPERS), sick and vacation time, and 14 paid holidays a year. Job Summary

The job duties for this position include a wide range of activities to support the day-to-day administration of campus scholarships. This position requires analytical skills, timely and independent planning, interpreting data, communication and decision making in accordance with office policies and procedures to achieve program goals.

Key Qualifications

  • Knowledge of general accounting procedures and practices to analyze basic accounting problems
  • Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Thorough knowledge of English grammar, spelling and punctuation
  • General knowledge of applicable university infrastructure, polices and procedures
  • Proficient in the use of word processing and spreadsheet software

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree, from a regionally accredited college or university, and/or equivalent training and administrative work experience involving study, analysis, and/or evaluation leading to the development or improvement of administrative policies, procedures, practices, or programs.
  • Experience with financial aid and/or student scholarships programs




Department Summary

The Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships supports the University by administering and/or coordinating all student financial aid programs at California State University, Fresno. The office is responsible for administering federal, state, institutional, and scholarship aid in excess for $250,000,000 annually to approximately 80% of the student.
