Baylor University announces a faculty opening for Artist-Teacher of
Piano (Associate or Assistant Professor Rank). Appointment date:
August 2022. Responsibilities: Teach undergraduate and graduate
piano students; recruit and maintain an outstanding studio of piano
majors at the undergraduate and graduate levels; maintain an active
performance profile on and off campus; contribute to the artistic
and intellectual life of Baylor University and the School of Music;
perform other duties, as determined by departmental needs.
Qualifications: Master's degree with exceptional commensurate
professional experience required, doctorate preferred; an
exceptional reputation as a performer at the national and
international levels; demonstrated record of excellence in teaching
piano at the university level preferred; a proven track record for
recruiting talented students. Rank and Salary: Full-time,
tenure-track position at the rank of Associate or Assistant
Professor; rank and salary commensurate with qualifications and
