    Suffolk University and the Marketing Department at the Sawyer Business School are pleased to announce the career opportunity for Assistant Professor of Marketing, Tenure-Track beginning in September 2022!

    We seek candidates who are committed to excellence in both research and teaching, as well as engagement with students, colleagues, and business or professional communities. Successful applicants should engage in meaningful, high quality research that demonstrates synergies with courses they teach as well as with the School’s mission. Successful applicants will demonstrate a commitment to developing and delivering cutting edge curricula which prepare students for marketing careers.

    Experiential learning is at the heart of the school’s mission with faculty encouraged to engage students with key educational stakeholders including other students, faculty, alumni, and local and global businesses. Leveraging the school’s location, embedded within Boston’s corporate, financial, healthcare, sports, and government centers, the successful candidate will develop collaborative relationships with external communities for experiential learning focused class projects, research projects, and other curricular activities.

    Candidates must have experience and/or interest in teaching Marketing Analytics, Marketing Automation, Marketing Strategy, Marketing Research, and Capstone Consultancy courses at both our undergraduate and MSM (Master of Science in Marketing) programs. The ideal candidate has Marketing Strategy, Digital Marketing, and/or Marketing Analytics as an area of current research and is proficient with research methods and tools. Interest and capability in developing relationships with local and/or global organizations is a plus. Qualified applicants must have defended their dissertation or have strong evidence that the dissertation will be successfully defended by August 2022.
