Job Description:

The Assistant Director of Alumni Relations helps to develop and manage programs, services, and activities for the alumni of York College of Pennsylvania. Relationships will be cultivated with individual alumni and groups of alumni. The Assistant Director fosters positive interaction between the College and alumni with the goal of increasing alumni participation.


Requirements:

The position requires a bachelor's degree and one to three years' familiarity and experience in alumni relations, preferably in higher education, either in a professional or a student capacity.

Other requirements for this position include a standard understanding of computer applications for office administration, must be able to handle multiple priorities and projects under time constraints, excellent organizational and superior communication skills, effective interpersonal skills, and an ability and willingness to travel and work frequent evening and weekend hours.

Other characteristics important for success in this position include collegiality, teamwork, and a sense of humor is a must.
