U HSGEAGLES WING CHILD CARE
Management/Supervisory, Academic Advising,
Student Services/Support, Youth Programming/Development
Assists with budget and curriculum development and teaching policy
for one or multiple early childhood education facilities to ensure
safety and compliance and foster an environment of learning and
development. Directs operations, supervises staff, and monitors
licensing and accreditation compliance.

Degree and Area of Specialization:
Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development,
Elementary Education or related field, with a minimum of 18 credits
in Early Childhood Education required.
Minimum Years and Type of Relevant Work Experience:
- Four or more years of experience in early childhood center,
elementary school, counseling, or administration.
- Experience working with a diverse population.
- Experience teaching or working with a play-based
- Experience with a State Licensing or City Accreditation
- Two or more years of supervision experience.
- Experience with the HighScope Curriculum.
Hours for both may vary depending on center operational needs and
scheduled Eagle's Wing and University Apartments Community events.
Provide after-hours, weekend and holiday on-call coverage for the
community on a rotating basis with other University Apartment
- Must successfully complete a fingerprint-based criminal
background check prior to employment, with an annual criminal
background check completed thereafter.
- Physical exam and TB test required upon job offer and again every
2 - 5 years.
