Position Summary:

The Department of Psychology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison is seeking to fill 2 Assistant Professor (tenure-track) faculty positions in the areas of Social Psychology or Developmental Psychology. The successful candidates will be expected to develop and maintain a vigorous, cutting-edge research program while making significant contributions to the undergraduate and graduate teaching missions of the department. We encourage applications from individuals working within any subfield of research within Social or Developmental Psychology.

Principal Duties:

Teach at the undergraduate and graduate level in addition to supervising master's and doctoral students. Conduct scholarly research and perform University and professional service as appropriate.

Degree and Area of Specialization:

Ph.D. in Psychology or related field required prior to start of appointment.

Minimum Years and Type of Relevant Work Experience:

A well qualified candidate will demonstrate potential for excellence in teaching and scholarly research in the areas of Social Psychology or Developmental Psychology. Teaching experience welcome.
