The Department of Educational Studies at Purdue University invites applications for appointment to a 10-month, non-tenure position at the level of Clinical Assistant Professor in Special Education with specific specialization in applied behavior analysis. The successful candidate will participate in vibrant graduate programs in Applied Behavior Analysis including masters, accelerated masters, and certificate programs. The Purdue Applied Behavior Analysis programs are housed within the Special Education program in the Department of Educational Studies. The faculty member will be expected to teach a 3/3 course load at the graduate level, assist in program coordination, and engage in scholarly activities. Applicant documents should demonstrate that they meet the following:

 

Required Qualifications

  1. a) An earned doctorate in Special Education, Psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis, or related field,
  2. b) Board Certification in Behavior Analysis,
  3. c) Demonstrated teaching excellence,
  4. d) Expertise and experience in working with individuals with disabilities, and
  5. e) Demonstrated interest in and commitment to the diversity and social justice mission of the program and College.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  1. a) Experience working with schools and community organizations,
  2. b) Experience with teaching online, and
  3. c) Experience training and/or supervising behavior analysts.
