Working independently, under the supervision of the Executive
Director of Finance & Administration, the Administrative
Analyst/Specialist provides a wide range of specialized
administrative responsibilities in support of University
Advancement’s financial and administrative operations. This
includes, but is not limited to, serving as the division’s
administrative liaison to the University’s Human Resources Service
Center, Budget and Financial Services Office, the University
Foundation Board of Governors, and Research Foundation’s Accounting
Services. Additionally, duties include overseeing the unit’s
budget, preparing financial reports and projections, reconciling
revenue and expense, including grant and foundation accounts,
developing and maintaining policies and procedures, as well as
planning and facilitating events.

Incumbent must possess:
Thorough knowledge of:
- A professional administrative specialty and/or program and/or
- Policies, procedures, and outside regulations pertaining to the
applicable program and/or administrative specialty.
- Office software packages (e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel, and
Outlook), technology and systems.
Working knowledge of:
- Standard theories, principles, practices and techniques
applicable to the program and/or administrative specialty to
develop conclusions and make recommendations.
- Operational and fiscal analysis and techniques.

Required Education and/or Experience
The knowledge, skills and abilities listed above would normally be

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :
Incumbent/applicant will need to be able to perform the essential
job functions and duties of this position with or without
reasonable accommodation. This position alternates between
remaining in a stationary position, operating a personal computer
for long periods of time and frequently moving about inside the
office. Due to the nature of the work additional or irregular hours
such as early morning, evening hours, and weekends may be required.
