REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Applicants must • Have earned a doctorate in educational leadership or a closely-related field of study from an accredited university by August 1, 2022; • Demonstrate an emerging/established research agenda in PK-12 educational leadership; • Have experience as a site-based public school PK-12 administrator (i.e., principal, assistant principal, instructional coach, or equivalent); • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with faculty colleagues, school district partners, policy-making bodies, and/or educational leadership research associations; and, •Demonstrated commitment to social justice through urban and equity-focused teaching, research, and service. ADDITIONAL DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS • Experience with grant-supported research; • Demonstrated expertise or interest in critical theories, including but not limited to critical race theory; • Evidence of an understanding of context-specific educational leadership and commitment to the preparation of educational leaders to meet the needs of culturally and linguistically diverse populations; • Experience with online/ virtual instruction; • Experience advising and teaching at the graduate level; and, • Experience working collaboratively with faculty members, students, and school district leaders.
