Instructor of Music, Horn

The David L. Walters Department of Music of Jacksonville State University’s College of Arts and Humanities is seeking to hire a scholar for an Instructor of Music, Horn.

The Instructor, in the Department of Music - Horn provides educational services to traditional and non-traditional students during the day or evening. The instructor is required to teach applied music for undergraduate students as well as horn choir. Other courses may be assigned such as Introduction to Music. The instructor may be required to teach courses within his/her concentration area on campus, off-campus, online courses and possible videoconferencing depending on need of location.

The preferred applicant will have an earned master’s degree in Music with experience teaching in a college setting.  The position has an anticipated start date of August 2022.
