Chatham University is a private master's level university located in Pittsburgh, PA with nationally recognized programs in the health sciences and sustainability. Founded in 1869, the Shadyside Campus is the historic home of Chatham University. Located in a cultural and academic hub of Pittsburgh, the Shadyside Campus is home to the School of Arts, Science, and Business. Chatham Eastside located less than 1 mile from the Shadyside Campus is home to the School of Health Sciences. With over 388 acres of land, the Eden Hall Campus is the home of the Falk School of Sustainability and is the first campus in the world to be built from the ground up for the study of sustainability. Chatham University enrolls over 2400 students with 30 different graduate programs enrolling more than 1000 students in both online and on-ground formats.

Reporting to the Vice President for Enrollment Management, the Assistant Vice President for Graduate Admission (AVP) will provide strong leadership and strategic direction in managing graduate admission and recruitment. The AVP will work with key University faculty and staff to create, implement and proactively evaluate enrollment management strategies that reflect the University's mission, goals, and evolving strategic plan. The AVP will work closely with the VP for marketing and Communication to ensure effective and consistent image and branding initiatives throughout multiple platforms. The AVP will serve as a key member of the University's enrollment management team and will work with the deans and graduate program directors to develop effective recruitment and enrollment plans in established and emerging markets.

Qualifications: The preferred candidate will have seven to ten years of progressively responsible executive-level experience in graduate admission. He or she will have the ability to analyze regional, national and global markets and devise effective recruitment strategies and tactics to meet enrollment goals.

  • The ability to work effectively with faculty, staff, and administrators.

The Search Process:

Review of applications will begin immediately and will continue until an Assistant Vice President for Graduate Admissions is appointed.
