The salary ranges for this position are $75,000 – $80,000 at Assistant Professor level and $85,000 – $92,000 at Associate Professor level. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based upon a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, education, experience, specialty and training.

The Department of Computer Sciences at Metropolitan State University of Denver is seeking applications for two tenure-track Computer Science faculty positions to begin August 2022. The University is particularly interested in applicants who have experience working with students from diverse backgrounds and a demonstrated commitment to improving access to higher education for under-represented groups. Duties/Responsibilities
The successful candidate must have the ability to effectively:
• Teach 12 hours per semester of undergraduate courses in an ABET accredited computer science program, including evenings on a consistent basis
• Teach a broad range of lower and upper division undergraduate computer science courses
• Advise a diverse student body through the academic program
• Participate in course and program development
• Pursue scholarly and professional activities appropriate for the undergraduate teaching mission of the university
• Perform university and professional service
• Perform other duties as assigned by the department chair
• Work with, and be sensitive to, the educational needs of a diverse, urban population Required Qualifications
Doctorate in Computer Science or related field completed by August 1, 2022 Preferred Qualifications
