Taylor University Upland campus is seeking applications and nominations of distinguished candidates to teach in the Film & Media Production program, part of the Art, Film & Media department. This is a full-time tenure track full-time position beginning in August 2022.  Rank and salary are dependent upon qualifications and experience.  Women and minorities are encouraged to apply.

 MFA with professional and academic experience in film, television, audio and/or video production. M.A. candidates will also be considered. Record of successful college teaching is desirable.  Candidates must have a personal, vibrant faith and Christian walk and be strongly committed to the educational mission and evangelical Christian orientation of the University.  Candidate will teach multiple courses from this list, depending on skillset: Film & Video Production, Audio Production, Scriptwriting, Media, Theory & Ethics, History & Criticism of Film and/or Cinematography.  The Film & Media Production program seeks to prepare extraordinary film and visual storytellers marked by professional excellence and meaningful content. The program has four full time faculty and serves approximately 100 students. The department is housed in the Rupp Communication Center and includes a Mac computer lab, TV studio, online radio station, equipment check-out rooms, eleven editing suites for audio and video, and cameras ranging from Sony FS-5s to 8K RED cameras. The department uses Avid Media Composer, Adobe Premiere, ProTools and DaVinci Resolve software.
