The C. T. Bauer College of Business at the University of Houston is
identifying candidates for a non-tenure track faculty position. The
position will be titled as Professor of Practice and Executive
Director of Executive Education and is slated to begin in the
Spring of 2022. The specific area of expertise is open and a PhD is
preferred. Applicants with a completed Ph.D. in Business
Administration or closely related field will be considered closely.
Duties will include teaching business courses and serving as
Executive Director of Executive Education (non-credit continuing
education) for the Bauer College. These duties include developing a
strategic plan and marketing and implementing executive education
programs for companies in Houston, Texas, nationally, and globally.
Additionally, open enrollment offerings for the general public that
leverage the thought leadership of Bauer College faculty will be a
key element of this role . Candidates with previous experience
administering university-affiliated executive education are
preferred and candidates that have experience creating bespoke
offerings to the target markets will be favored. Candidates should
have experience in building meaningful relationships with large
organizations and possess the ability to design and implement new
programs and offerings in consultation with Bauer faculty. The
