Summary of Job Duties:This position works under the supervision of the Director of Student Success and Enrichment. The tutor will provide leadership, coordination, and support for the development and implementation of programs and services for minority and at-risk students. The tutor will also facilitate workshops covering soft skills; financial literacy; multicultural programming; work with student ambassadors and student led awareness events. The Tutor maintains and coordinates food and food voucher card distribution for the Nashville campus and keeps up-to-date records regarding student participation, while maintaining strict confidentiality.

Qualifications:

REQUIREMENTS:

  • The successful completion of at least 20 college credit hours
  • Must have excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Must be able to maintain student confidentiality
  • Must be organized, able to prioritize tasks, pay strict attention to detail, and meet deadlines
  • Must be friendly, self-motivated, outgoing, and professional
  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision
  • Fluent in English and Spanish is preferred
