The Gannon University's Doctor of Physical Therapy Program located
at the Ruskin, Florida campus seeks two core faculty members to
serve as Assistant Professors. These full-time, 12-month positions
begin January 2, 2022, or upon hire.
Gannon University faculty work collaboratively with colleagues,
deliver instruction, advise students, engage in scholarship, and
participate in service. Requirements for a tenure track appointment
include an earned advanced post-professional degree (PhD, EdD, DHS,
DSc) in physical therapy or a related field. Additional required
qualifications include greater than three (3) years of teaching
experience in a DPT program, greater than five (5) years of
clinical experience and a contemporary academic curriculum
expertise in one or more of the following areas: orthopedics,
amputee and prosthetic management, statistics and research design,
clinical medicine, pharmacology, health policy and pediatrics.
Preferred qualifications include a record of scholarship and
service, and an ABPTS. Candidates must be able to support and
promote the University's inclusive Mission, its Catholic identity,
