Assistant Teaching Professor, Doctor of Physical Therapy

The Gannon University's Doctor of Physical Therapy Program located at the Ruskin, Florida campus seeks two core faculty members to serve as Assistant Professors. These full-time, 12-month positions begin January 2, 2022, or upon hire. 
Gannon University faculty work collaboratively with colleagues, deliver instruction, advise students, engage in scholarship, and participate in service. Requirements for a tenure track appointment include an earned advanced post-professional degree (PhD, EdD, DHS, DSc) in physical therapy or a related field. Additional required qualifications include greater than three (3) years of teaching experience in a DPT program, greater than five (5) years of clinical experience and a contemporary academic curriculum expertise in one or more of the following areas: orthopedics, amputee and prosthetic management, statistics and research design, clinical medicine, pharmacology, health policy and pediatrics.   Preferred qualifications include a record of scholarship and service, and an ABPTS. Candidates must be able to support and promote the University's inclusive Mission, its Catholic identity, and its liberal arts and professional education traditions.
